Off-kilter art extravaganza Modern Panic returns to London for its fifth annual outing, touching down at Apiary Studios in Hackney, November 8-16.
Modern Panic V promises a “step into the dark side of art”, featuring more than 40 of the most out-there international artists and live performers, exploring the furthest depths of the human psyche.
Curated by James Elphick of London art collective Guerilla Zoo, the show is due to include the last ever sculptures created by legendary Alien designer HR Giger, illustration work from UK surrealist Iain MacArthur, and the felt-based excursions of Lucy Sparrow.
Live performance comes from some of the UK’s most provocative, including wrestler-cum-artist Phil Bridewell, anarcho-clown Bang Crosby and the dark, immersive world of the Twice Shy Theatre.
