Viral Uncovered: Bubble tea terror?

1 Mins read

This story came about after the discovery of a viral video on TikTok exposing a bubble tea shop in the heart of Peckham, South East London. It was only natural to investigate the allegations and to see what extent the TikTok post was a reflection of the shop’s standards, and what has happened in the five months since being ‘exposed’ online.

This bitesized podcast includes a re-enactment from the girl who blew the whistle on the shop – she speaks about her poor treatment and what was the catalyst for her to ‘go public’ with the alleged ‘shocking’ standards of the shop. The podcast also hears from the shop itself and health officials.
