The UK government is moving closer to launching a nationwide Digital ID system, which will be necessary to work or prove your right to live in the country.

Even though the government has said it will make a positive impact, there are mixed opinions about the plan. Some believe it will make life easier and help prevent fraud, while others worry about privacy and how personal information will be stored and used.
