Once known for its diversity and affordability, Peckham is now experiencing a wave of rising housing prices and an influx of new businesses and trendy cafes, but long-term residents are facing displacement due to rising rents.

While economic growth and investment may have improved local facilities, there are still fears about the loss of Peckham’s unique character and community.
