Surge in phone thefts sparks safety concerns across London

With phones being stolen every minute of every day, are there adequate measures in place to address the ongoing issue?

The latest data from the City of London Police show that 213 phones have been reported stolen since the year began. Particularly in popular target areas like Oxford Street, Soho, and Tottenham Court Road, phone theft has been on the rise.
