1 Mins read

We will explore the youth-led movement that’s redefining urban spaces and breaking stereotypes.

By Serena Angoua, Iman Hirji & Christvie Mvloki.

Building on the success of the BBC Four documentary If the Streets Were On Fire we investigate what has happened since its release, highlighting the growth of Bike Stormz and its transformative impact on individuals and communities.

Through exclusive interviews, we’ll hear from: A person inspired by the documentary, who shares their opinion on Bike Stormz. We will also interview a long-time member of the movement, who reflects on how Bike Stormz has evolved over the years, their personal experiences, and their hopes for its future.

We also hear from Tom Pickering from XLP, to discuss other organisations working to support young Londoners. It stands for ‘The Excel Project.’ he discussed the challenges young people face, the impact of their work, and what’s next for the organisation.
