London Oktoberfest: More pounds than Prost?

1 Mins read

Any excuse for Londoners to have a slightly larger pint? Oktoberfest is your answer. What do the Germans have to say about it?

Oktoberfest originated in Munich, Germany, as a wedding party, but is known today as the beer festival.

Happening all over the world, how could London drinkers possibly miss out on this opportunity? With a strong drinking culture amongst Londoners, they seem to be able to find any excuse to drink.

Money flows wherever alcohol does. £35+ tickets and £10+ pints, these events don’t come cheap. Oktoberfest is free all over Germany.

But what do Germans in London think? Is it authentic, or capitalism in disguise?
