As independent movies rise in popularity, Artefact explores some of the challenges that go into producing them.

With an independently-made film winning the most amount awards at the Oscars last year, fans and critics are anxious to see who this year’s big winner will be.

So, as we officially enter 2024’s award season, Artefact magazine thought it would be fitting we first understand what some of the challenges and benefits are of producing indie films.
